Hi there, I'm Lauren.
I started The Laser Clinic in 2018 after a having a great experience with IPL a few years prior which gave me lots of confidence.
There was a huge calling for Laser Hair Removal in Frome and at the time nowhere was offering it so I decided to take the plunge and retrain.
I’m now 4+ years in and run the clinic alongside my sister Lilly and between the two of us offer a whole range of aesthetic treatments.

Does it hurt?
Both our IPL & Laser machines have an integrated cooling system which takes the edge off the heat from the laser. Most clients describe it as a warming, tingling sensation. You are welcome to book in for a FREE test session to experience this yourself
How many sessions do I need?
A minimum of 6 sessions are recommended with some hair types requiring more. The average for a successful program is 8 sessions.
How long does a session take?
Using the latest technology in permanent hair removal an SHR treatment is completed in minutes. The hand piece is continuously moved over the skin to ensure maximum results. Depending on the size of the target area you could be in and out over the space of a lunch break.
Can I shave in-between sessions?
Yes. Shaving is permitted in between sessions. However all other methods of hair removal such as waxing, plucking, creams or epilating are to be completely avoided.
How long do I have to leave in between sessions?
Each area of hair that covers our body grows at different rates which means the time you leave in between your sessions will vary on what area you have decided to have treated. For example, a session every 6-8 weeks in advised for your legs however 2-3 weeks is recommended for your upper lip or chin. Please note - it is possible to have more than one area treated at any time it may just mean you have more appointments to fit in with that particular area of hair.
What happens if I miss one of my sessions?
Your program will be spread over the course of approximately 6 months & we understand that life can sometimes gets the way of plans. However, SHR is a commitment & if by chance you miss a pre-booked appointment it may result in you having to purchase extra sessions.
